After some help please, have searched but can't seem to find the answer...

I have recently got a 95 TE350 and checked the valve clearances for the fist time and the intake has a massive gap and I can lift it up about 5mm, I have tried to wind down the adjuster but it seems to be getting stuck on the thread somewhere and not going down that far (on both)

Has anyone come across this before?

Have you got it sorted? I'm relatively new to my 91 350, already checked my valves and clearances were spot on. The amount of clearance you've got is not right for any engine. How does the cam lobe look? The rocker arm contact pads? Threads for the adjuster or on the rocker may be bad?

Sounds more like not at TDC compression stroke.
