I posted this on another thread or section but saw that theres a super moto section.

I've got a te smr 511 brembo caliper and master cylinder that id want to use on my te449.
Obviously they run different forks so they are not compatiable
I know the front hub offset is different ... by 5mm which would need to be machined....
is there a bracket available... which im having trouble sourcing ...
might be looking at the beringer caliper / master cylinder race kit. but I'm only using it on the street atm.
or just purchasing a caliper that would bolt up directly to the te forks.

or second option is just buy a caliper bracket to suit the standard te caliper which I think would be a waist of money.

Are the brembo caliper radial type mount a good replacement or the beringer the best option..and obviously an upgrade of the master cylinder also...but I just want to sort out this caliper dilemma.

NOTE: that I still would need the speedo to be operating ...this another issue and would be a factor in which id be purchasing

beringer kit pro racer.....6 piston kit
I notice that it has the speedo screw point
atm this is my best option ive seen
I think its the 300mm kit
anyone else got any pics of a different kit I can use

    front brakes my bike smr.jpg

well this a picture of a te fork caliper mount with the 320mm rotor
note... I had the rotor powder coated
these are a set of sm pro wheels with the correct offset so didn't need to be machined.

well .... just same of my research of brake kits
but I notice nothing lists to suit a te449 or te511 for same reason. please explain....I do now
tried to put pics up but no can do. atm. could save pics
well one of there kits is the 6 piston. as pic above
if anyone has a pic of the 4 piston kit on a te449 or te511 model would be great.

you might try warp 9, they sent me the caliper bracket with my kit, looks similiar, i can send pics later if you need them. for the speedo i jb welded a magnet to the rotor where the other magnet was on the stock parts, speedo works fine.

great pics would be good so others understand wot where talking about ..
yeh speedo wont be a big issue but your advise would be nice to hear.
im hanging to get it back on the road ... ill take same pics myself of the caliper etc. of the smr
if had any problems that's worth mentioning be nice too.
    thx
I know that the brake line would need to be made up to suit a 4 spot caliper as the smr brake line doesn't quite fit. angles are a bit different of the fittings etc

I am impressed by my stock caliper and 320mm warp 9 with motorex fluid, very very good on the street.

I will likely go beringer when the time comes.

As Huskylove said bracket came with kit, for me everything to convert to SM came in the kit...I've found the stock brembo with the large rotor is way more than enough for my needs
