    G'day All,
Just got back from an awesome ride at Canunda National Park, and when giving the bike a wash I have noticed a small hole on the left side of the head.
I wasn't sure if the small hole should have a rivet in it like the two above it.
    Any advice greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Glenn

most machines have a drain/vent hole for the spark plug receptacle this is probably what it is. To really verify pull the plug cap and pour a little water into the spark plug receptacle(I said to pull the cap because those are usually sealed well with a grommet), it should drain out (somewhere). This one looks to be in an odd location, however. So wait for the new motor experts to chime in (Motosportz for example) and just use my note as an idea of what it is.

My 449 has the exact same hole and it is, as robertaccio mentions, a drain hole for the plug cavity.
