Hello to all, Sorry for the detailed post, Ill keep them shorter in the future,
I'm fairly new here on this Forum but have been reading alot of Posts and the strings following them from all of ya. This crowd is awesome on here. I have made a few Mods to my 2011 TE630 thanks to all of your input. Learning more about my ride everyday with your help. This is my first Post here and I need some help.

The bike was broken in mostly on the road with like 20-60 mile rides on backroads up and down the RPM range as the dealer instructed me to do prior to the first full service. I also did 1/2 day of dirt riding prior to bringing it in for the full service. At the end of the 1/2 day ride approx. 60 miles in sand, woods, hard packed etc... I heard some light clanking on the way home from what I thought may be the clutch, gear box etc... It happened when I let out the clutch after riding that 1/2 day and sounded kinda clanky but not bad, could be the chain? After that first 1/2 day in the dirt the first full service was due now so I had it done the next day at the dealer, at about 550 miles on the odometer. They did the work and told me the clanking was that the chain just needed an adjustment. It sounded way better when I left the dealer.

The bike now has around 570 miles on it so I decided to do some mods now that shes broken in. Here is what was done after the breakin period. I did the Power Up Resistor/Jumper Plug, Removed and Plugged my o2 Sensor, airbox mod with holes and screen all over and just installed the JD Jetting FI Tuner Kit on this bike. Waiting for the parts to come this week I ordered from TX for the Baffel tubes and packing to De-Cat the Twin Pipes and open her up to breath a bit.

Heres the thing, did the above mods so far, got some really nice results so I decided to open it up a bit on the road. Brought it up to 94 MPH and then backed off, it had much more to go though. Stopped at a buddies house to show him the JD Tunner. Was there about 20 minutes. All was fine but when I left I got to the end of his block, went to let the Clutch out and it seemed to not want to grab and sort of grabbing at the end but not moving much. I throttled it a bit and then pumped the clutch in and out and it caught better then was off slowly. The take off seemed like it was a bit slipping and grabbing a little then was ok to ride home. What the heck is that about? Anyone have some ideas? I looked but did not find anything on any of the Forums, so I'm reaching out.
    Thanks,
    Mike

Dam that was fast bro, Repsol moto racing 10w50 Fullsynthetic. At least that's what my reciept says, lol. They are a good local Honda dealer, been around forever, the owner is the head mech, so I think that's what's really in it.

Try bleeding the clutch first. Other than that, I have no idea.

Johngil, is that the oil you would have used? Anything better for future changes?

As long as you're using a motorcycle specific oil, you should be fine.

Have you done the tech updates, specifically the replacement clutch push rod? I have heard reports of that replacement rod quieting the noise down some. I think the problem it was designed to correct was binding inside the engine, as the fit for the OEM rod is pretty snug. If that rod hangs up, your clutch is going to stick.

Is the clutch push rod an item that will be under warranty? Will the dealer install it for free through Husky? If not what's the cost of the rod and is install difficult?

The rod is a warranty item and Husky is aware of the issue. Mine did just about exactly what you report, but on a regular basis when taking off in first gear. The Rod tolerances are too tight and it can bind. Heating the bike up probably doesn't help as it might reduce the clearance even more. It's a small part and although I don't know the cost, it shouldn't be much if you don't want to mess with the warranty work. The dealer replaced mine in just a handfull of minutes, literally.

I´d like to bet it´s the Husky re-call on the clutch push rod that hasn´t been done. Happened to mine in exactly the same manner and I drove out to the dealer just as he was phoning my house to tell me to bring it in for the re-call. It should have been done before he handed you the bike out.

Dealer did tell me that they check all the Vin vs. Date the bike was made to make sure the bike was not in that range, but maybe he missed it. Going in next week or so. Thanks

Hmm...Husky buletin for updated clutch pushrod that I have doesn't have a VIN range. It states only SM/TE630 MY2011. So that means any 2011 needs it and your dealer was mistaken.

Glad to hear that. Then it def was not done. Thanks for the info. Its already scheduled to be done. Just received the baffels and the packing from TX to de-cat my stock dual pipes. Hope it helps even more with the performance. I like doing the mods myself, makes it feel more my own. Also trying to keep the bike looking kinda stock but lighten her up a little bit. Already a bunch more power and speed from the mods I mentioned above and have not adjusted the jd jetting tuner yet. Was able to do 88mph at the top of 5th gear and now, got her doing 86 at the top of 3rd, could not believe it. So cool!!!
