    Hi everyone,

My TE630 is fitted with a roller rear chain guide instead of the more usual hard plastic slider type. Any thoughts on the roller types? I've only ever used the sliders.

    Thanks

the rollers work well but can get bent sideways they take hits from the front well. i think they last longer than the sliders in rocky conditions

My CCM 644´s got a slider. Audacious CCMers on the CCM Riders Forum have upgraded to rollers. My Husky 630 is the first bike I´ve owned with rollers. Think I can hear the chain on the roller and that the slider´s quieter. The nylon strip that the chain slides on has to be changed once in a while but, as the chain is longer on a bike with longer suspension, the roller holds it in place more securely.
