Testament to thick tubes

    I run those heavy duty tube moose tubes. Was thinking of going to the nuetech tubeless. Well this last ride my friend points out at the end of some tough 40 mile single track "um...did you know you had a flat" then points to my rear tire. I thought it felt a tad better traction that day specifically a around ten miles into the ride. So apparently I rode on the thing flat for some 30 miles and didn't know it was even flat. I will always run those things now

    I think you should go tubliss or use less pressure in the hd tubes youve got, alot of the riding you did on a flat and didnt notice may be down to stiff side walls of your tyre more than the tube.

    what tire are you running? Like Juicy says above the tube really should not be able to support anything when flat. Also if you have a flat then you got a flat and thats actually a negative in the HD tube theory. :D Sounds like that tire you run and tubliss might be perfect for you. 3 or 4 psi and go.

    Lol- I posted way too early. Replaced tube today. It was totally fine. Just really really low. Where's the face palm emoticon?
