Looks like husky gets the 690 with new cloths. Pics not supposed to be released yet but floating around FB.
But can you ride it anyplace other than ice! (that is the only place Husky shows it ....and shows it......and shows it )
I have been wondering if they were going to let have any of us see these things. (in other then SNOW)
Damn i knew i should have posted it earlier...beat me to it lol. Supposedly ktm is dropping the 690 enduro from their line up
Not sure where they are built but I'm coming to see Huskies as colored white with the other splashes added ... Might be from the earliest Huskies(I forget now what they were) and it was an open color to be used by this industry that ID the brand plus will always move it away from the Japanese brands' color schemes currently... SuperMoto ... Some riders really like riding those types ... This all just popped in my head looking at this thread, but SP has sold lots of bikes all over the world ... he knows 'who wants what bike and where that guy at it, globally'... He used Ktms for gathering that info ... With that knowledge, he's got a headstart on how and where to start sales off with these new Huskies...
SP said there would be no huskly street bikes and the line would be totally different that the KTM line within a year or so. Seems KTM is selling a lot of white KTMs and as such it seems the lines are going to remain almost identical. they have a great product and 2 ways to market it and I think that was the plan all along.
Back in 2000 when the TE610E came to the US, it was so much better than the KTM 640 LC4 DS. KTM continued to develop the LC4 into the 690 and it's a really nice engine now. This will be a nice bike!
Not sure on those outboards ... SP has said sales numbers were way past his dreams at such an early stage of ownership and all plans were accelerated; there are gonna be more sales numbers and judging from all the different Husqvarna bikes this successful business-man-to-date wants to sell now, ahead of schedule, Husqvarna riders are gonna like 'em; Husqvarna owners will be there also ...
