Went for a 140km tight 2nd to 4th gear single track ride through South Australias pristine mallee scrub (bush, forest etc)

I have recently had my suspension done (new springs, full revalve, changed shimm stack) added tank foam to my big tank and also put my 14/48 combo on.

Usually I sit towards the back, fighting the weight of my bike through the tight stuff but not anymore. I was either behind the lead rider or in the top 5 for the whole day. People on smaller bikes were actually holding me up. I was overtaking Im so stoaked that I had to do this write up!!

The setup is perfect for my weight and had the clickers set perfectly for this ride and everything just came together!! It was one of the best rides I have ever been on!!

    Heres some pix:

Enjoy your 610. Get them right and they really reward you!!

Nice pix and vid. Looks like a great day of riding out in the bush.
No surprise here about the 610's capabilities offroad. The majority of what
I ride on my 610 is tight woods s/t trails. You learn to adapt to the height
and weight of the bike and although it's not the ideal bike for the type of
riding that I do, it does handle it surprisingly well.

Indeed. As long as the trees arent too close together the 610 works great off-road.

Its funny that 6 months ago I was ready to burn the 610! Hated it! But then spent the money on the suspenders and what a different bike. Gotta admit the Pirelli MT21's are a lot better than what I was expecting too!

Hey that was alright. I like the fast moving shots through the trees. Was that a one day ride or over a weekend?

I only had enough points stored up with my wife for a 1 day ride but some of the other guys stayed for 2 days.

Thanks for the pix and vid  I agree w/ya, having the suspension fixed on my 610 completely transformed the bike and it really handles like a jewel for a +300lb machine. Other folks who have ridden mine are usually surprised and I get the usual comment " this thing almost handles like a 450" :applause:

Its one of those - Lostasidecover - brands.

    Hahah.

At the last enduro I was at a few weeks ago, my side cover that also covers half of my aircleaner went missing on the last lap. The laps were 45klm and I was in no shape to do another one just to go look for a side cover so Its out there somewhere.

I have ordered another one and should be here soon.
