Well, I did it. Four races in eight days. The bike held together and so did I :applause: My first time doing all four races and I'm glad I did. Kinda feel like I accomplished something. :)

    Results-
    Sandlapper 2nd place in 250C
River Ranch FL GNCC 8th place in Vet B
    Alligator Nat'l Enduro 1st place in 250C
The General GA GNCC 24th place in Vet B

I had a much better race than 24th place at The General but I crashed into a tree on my fourth and last lap. I broke my throttle housing, bent the handlebars...and, of course, broke the "catch all" radiator shrouds

I put in three good laps at The General starting in 15th place, then 14th, then 13th before my wreck. Looking at lap times I'm happy with my first three laps compared to the rest of my class. This was my second Vet B race and I feel like I could have run in the top five if I had a better start. We started on the last row in the afternoon race and the GNCC people messed up our start big time. It seems like they forgot about us and had started some kind of interview over the PA system. They never said 10 seconds that I heard. And the flag guy didn't do his routine like he had on all the previous rows. Anyway, I wasn't even looking at him when he waived the flag. Got a terrible start. I do pretty good on starts so I was pretty ill about their screwup.

The course was great. Definitely much rougher than the AM race. My rebound damping is a little messed up on the Husky so I wasn't comfortable jumping on the mx track and several people passed me there. There were some great mud holes. Josh Strang caught me at a mud hole and he spotted a great line through it. I followed him and was amazed at how he spotted this good line (there were no friends pointing him to a good line at this mud hole either :excuseme:). I have to work on my line selection at difficult places. Also have to work on riding ruts. I did ok, but I could make a big difference in my performance if I stood up more through ruts.

The bike was acting weird during most of the race. I don't think the powervalve was opening. In fact, I know it wasn't because it did open a few times and was very noticeable. I'm guessing it just needs a good cleaning? :excuseme: I did a topend before the Sandlapper race. :excuseme:

Here's a couple pics from Florida. I got the holeshot in my first ever afternoon GNCC! :D I kinda like the fact that I look like a goon wearing ratty old torn gear and a goofball headlight while everyone else has nice gear and good looking bikes :busted::lol:

And here's one from The Alligator. If you've never done the Alligator, this is very good representation of what the trail looks like. It's tight, there's palmettos hanging all in the trail and you can't see the trail very far ahead. However, most of that race was much more sandy. The deep beach sand stuff. I think this picture was taken coming out of the third section.

That's it for my racing until the fall when SETRA starts back up. And that's it for C class racing for me. I'm now Vet B in both HS and Enduro. Time to pick up my game.

I'm probably going to sell this Husky soon if anyone wants an '06 250. 2K as is (with the throttle housing replaced) or I'll fix some stuff and ask a little more.
