No word on this young man yet but I hope he is ok ... He flew quite a ways and then hits hard on his tail bone pretty much. Vertebra in the backbone takes a lick from a landing like that.

JA21 appears to come up behind CR22 at a slight angle and then scrubs(?) the jump takeoff and drags his foot lip on the jump takeoff it appears...

The camera angle on most of this racing is 15-20' above the riders and it totally hides the height they are jumping... Looks weird seeing that bike clear that last small jump going into the corner ...

Saw that last night - looks like his right foot got yanked off the foot peg when he scrubbed the jump; man he took a hard hit into the face of the other jump; look at the force of his head hitting the ground. Last night was a rough night for lots of guys ... TC, Weimer, etc.

I haven't saw the race yet but was he weaving around behind cr22 just before he took off up the ramp where he came off the bike? That video makes it look like he did not hit that ramp 100% straight and he was gonna go off the track to his left, maybe, unless he did something to get the bike to go back to his right...

His head and neck took a big pop from that ...

Oops, sorry for the partial spoiler ...

I'm no expert, but the track just did not seem to flow well at all?

Those guys make everything smooth but a wall jump ... That track might have been a little funky maybe ... They did have that uphill ramp into the stands and that really big, sort of squared, sweeper ...

That one view of JAs' bad take-off and crash might be a little deceiving because if you look at that jump he clipped his foot on, there is really no reason to scrub there so the previous landing might have caused that take-off to go all bad ... But there were riders doing different things there also ... I'm guessing he'll be sore but ok ... Slo-mo hids a lot there also I think ... He flew a long ways also and ended up on top of the final jump ...

This corner saw alot of action ... Guys were quading into the corner here and the TC41 and JW12 crash happened here also ... Looked like JW just did not get a good take-off and he drifted over into TC41s' line ...

So if you watch this one, you get alot better view of the section JA21 was dealing with before the foot off the peg event ...

Watch that second lane ...Looks simple enough but towards the end is 3 tabletops and that smaller jump between the last 2, its alot more technical than it looks going through there at speed. Some of those landings and take-offs are awfully close ... Lots of times the riders were dragging the rear-wheel down 1 side of a TT and then you just shoot up and over the second TT the next instant ... You gotta have a rear suspension to absorb all that and still stay hooked to some degree.

Here's that section ...Can't see the jump heights but the riders can probably see over them...JA clipped that jump just in front of the KX rider in white ... Didn't stop till he has laying on top of the last jump past the last TT on the left..

I'm amazed how these guys land on a tabletop then jump up off of them. Seems like it defies gravity and physics.

    lovely.
knowing the good guy character of Trey he must feel super bad for the whole mess even though it is a true racing incident.

yes, read a post from Trey today, and he said he prayers are for Jake right now and feels bad about it. That said he seemed in good spirits and is already thinking outdoor.

man they have got to figure out a way to slow these guys down its been done in ever other form of racing and those guys have roll cages seatbelts and nomex suits you dont need 60HP on a SX track or anyplace else id bet money if KC66 had been on a 250XC he would be here today you just don't have to go that fast to have fun or good racing when people get hurt its bad for everything and everybody

Someone needs to invent a pad to cover where these guys hit their faces on the handlebars ...

JW changed his line... TC41 was passing on the outside and JW came over ... These guys usually don't make that mistake ... You probably missed it but about 2 races ago, WP23 changed lines over a triple and TC41 missed him by a fraction ... They actually changed places in mid air somehow it appeared...

Both these riders are not SEMI riders ... Not sure why they are in that moto ..

im real sorry to hear about that kid but IMO WTF was he doing on a 250f one of the things that needs changed is the age thing it needs to be a size thing[ some sort of scale] hell when i was 14 i was 6"+ 240lbs and yes i was on a 250 79 WR rated @21hp if you believe the press the government has never tried to step in on emissions in motorsports which is what caused all this 4t BS in the first place the cost and performance are outa sight nobody but a top level racer needs or can even use that no way in hell im i for more goverment but we better start governing ourselves or the man will give us 300cc and under clean affordable 2t rework the tracks and lets race at 20-50 mph instead of 60-100+ you'v been taught your whole life SPEED KILLS
