More trail verification into locations I've been away from for too long and more surprises ... Their election for the yr has just ended and this means money is gonna be spent up to election time and even after the election for a short while, depending on election results ....

Today, it was walk-over bridges with the budget money ...

Busted out the white klims ... And yep, that sprocket is on the right side of the bike ... Its a 2008 WR250 day and the fork action will be focused on since I have changed the oil in them and need to verify their action ... Upped the oil amount to 420cc per leg ...

I was not ready to see any footbridge here of this size! .... My first thoughts were how high does the water get here? I'd really like to know how they got that thing built so high up in the air ...

Out the front door view ... WR250 rides well with the Voyager; just don't go over the bars or it might be toast...

This walkover is more like what you would expect to see here ...

They always put up a sign with names and numbers on it at a work site ...

The water might not get so high but the house, car or truck in it's clutches will hopefully fit under the bridge.

Clearance! Thats it I bet ... are you an engineer? ... That's a big river for here and carries lots of water I'm sure and whatever else down stream ... I hope to get some high water shots there later ...

No, not an engineer but when I was a kid I hiked across a dry creek bed to school every day. Fairly shallow but about 30-40 feet wide. Only saw water in it one time when it stormed for days and that creek overflowed and moved up on our property about 60 feet to within a few feet of our back porch. Remember seeing a dog house and some outbuildings floating down it. San Diego County, Pomerado Creek in Poway in the 50's

This place is just a flash flood waiting to happen after each rain ...

Looking around again today at new trails and some other places I have not been in a while and found another new walk-over and one that just went down with the new rains ... Maybe something was washed down and took it out ...

Did you see the story of the Iguaca Falls in Brazil.?

10 times normal volume of water going over right now.

4 times the size of Niagara Falls.

Cool stuff, as usual, ray-ray!

Also cool that you get to ride over the bridges, too. I'd probably get shot/arrested if I tried that here in CA.
