Nice job. I remember that, years ago, a bike was build with 2 Husky 500cc. engines. The name was "Folan 1000". http://www.leguidevert.com/forum/images/a136445_1.jpg
twin from what i understand there are 3 of these., 2 in the old factory showroom and one at the white bros museum.. yorba linda i believe. it was 2 250's on a specaial center case, a shared chamber. bike won the baja 1000 that year. i am sure george or somebody else can add to this.
Damn scary sweet. Can you imagine that beast racing a Rally with twin modern 530's on it? Say goodbye to any bigbore competition Ofcourse keeping rear tires on it would be a pretty tuff task
I posted some info from "the Horse's Mouth" regarding the 500 twins a while back. There were various versions, some built by Folan, a sub-contractor to HVA, and some built by HVA themselves. One interesting varient is in a Seeley road-racing frame and was campaigned briefly in GP racing in Europe. That bike is in the factory museum in Huskvarna. Didn't see any others.
