He's asking about the air injection into the exhaust to burn excess hydrocarbon. I've not looked at it on this bike. However, it really doesn't affect performance as far as I know. It does cause some back firing or burbbles from the exhaust.

Post combustion air injection is not parasitical. You will not gain any HP by removing or plugging the port. Waste of time and not good for the environment either. Cheers
