This last weekend, my wife accepted the offer to go riding out in Thetford Mines, Quebec. I knew of 2 things about the place. Mines, and a race track to too far from the mines. We hit Parc X-Tring on Saturday and did a little sightseeing on Sunday. We left from our hotel to a mine deposit hill. Not the safest place to ride as these are abandoned "asbestos" mines, but we didn't stay too long. I've attached some pics of what we saw. Note that this area is about a 1/2 mile from the hotel, right along the main drag. It was like entering another world. Enjoy!
