Dennis Kirk, Rocky Mountain MC and Motorcycle Superstore all carry Thor. I can vouch for good customer service at the first two. I haven't ordered anything from the third one though.

MX SOUTH claims to do international orders and they sell Thor. I have also ordered some stuff from them without any problems.

I buy stuff from Bob's Cycle fairly often. Their standard shipping consistantly gets my order to me the next day at 9 am, which rocks. They often have some great clearance prices.

(and the ship internationally  )

I find chain reaction cycles in Ireland pretty cheap, and they do Thor stuff.

I aint gonna be much help....I'm still wearing stuff from 2000. I even got a left over red/blk Yoko jersy I drug out yesterday for a romp....

These Sinisalo pants just wont die! The jersey is finally starting to unravel tough... I love digging through the 'old stuff' bin at my local shop...:D

Ditch the Thor stuff. Klim products cost a little more, but waaay worth it as their products are super high quality. They make pants the way the used to be made 20 years ago -they actually are of lasting quality.

Website shows a dealer in Great Britain, don't know if that's any help to you or not.

thanks for the replies  you know i thought about the klim stuff as i had heard some good things about it. however call me vain but i dont like any of their colour schemes so thats why i went against it.
the thor stuff has been the most hard wearing of anything i ever had which is why i returned to it. the terrain here is tight woods mostly so the gear gets clawed by branches, trees, shrubery etc (and exhaust burns but that could just be me) and has a much tougher life than wide open spots.

i got some good deals on closeouts plus the currency exchange from bobscycle so i am happy.

    thanks

Anytime anyone buys new gear, they should check out sandhillspowersports.com. Their prices often are the lowest I am able to find. Also, if Dennis Kirk has something else I need that SH does not (tires for instance), they will price-match with Sandhills. I bought the Ride gear last year from Dennis Kirk, because I needed a few bike-related items that SH did not have. They price-matched SH on all the riding gear and I saved enough money to pay for a new rear tire for my WR! When I don't need the other stuff, i just by straight from them. They are an excellent source. They will e-mail you the prices. You don't have to sign in, just put in the e-mail and they'll send you the price. It's really a great source.

They have Klim gear which i REALLY like and have VERY good prices.

Motosportz (shameless plug) sells the Sinisalo gear which are very nice MX style pants.

Does anyone know of a source for Sidi boots that offers a discount?

That is a tough one, usually they are not discounted compared to the other brands such a Gaerne SG10s.

Sidi's . . . . Yeah I think everyone has to go through Motonation to get them. I get a healthy discount through my local dealer for stuff, and I don't get much off the Sidi's. They are worth it IMO.

Tadgh it's funny you are coming here to the US for stuff, as I am having to go over there (UK) to get better pricing on trials parts. I just bought a used Beta that needed a few things and about passed out when I started hearing prices here for stuff, then I started seeing stuff over there about 1/2 price. Go figure.:excuseme:

well because of the volume of sales in the US for the riding gear, the stores compete better on price than here, plus the exchange rate is favourable. also if the packages are marked sample or such like ..then they come to me without any import duty :busted: ...

including postage i think i saved 40% on the stuff i ordered.

i can only figure that because the beta stuff passes through so many hands before getting to you, plus taxes that it all adds up. i know from the prices i see here the trials scene is considerably cheaper than mx and enduro for whatever reason. i know labour rates in spain are much cheaper than the rest of europe so maybe that explains some of it (gas gas are about the cheapest enduro bike also).
