Hi Everyone, first post here. I recently acquired an 03 TE610E (the electric start version). It's a non runner. I think I've found the issue but am having trouble finding manuals for the particular model. I've found stuff for the kick start model that I've been using where they appear the same (top end rebuild) but I've read the engines are quite different. Mine doesn't have the oil screen on the right hand side. I've looked around this site but I can't find any links that work that are for the 610E. I asked the local Huskie dealer and when I said it was an 03 she replied "oh not those Huskies" Apparently after BMW took over from the Italians anything made previously ceased to exist. I don't think we have a "those Huskies dealer" in my area. Basically I'm on the hunt for documentation for the 2000-2004 TE610E. Workshop and parts manuals in particular. Thanks in advance. The engine is the same on the 2006 & 2007 models as well with the exception of a high compression piston.
