Yep that was cool and did you hear both of them say those 450s are big and heavy at the end of the races? lol!! EDIT: I've heard it said over and over on this site about how light the JAP 450s are .. I'm racing with guys now that have the JAP 450s and they are very heavy bikes to load and unload ...So I'm calling BS on those experts also.
I didn't catch them saying that about 450's but I only saw 1 moto of each, have to catch the other online. I'm sure they're all great bikes but the fact that I've been able to rent a 449 makes me want one. Plus I like its odd looks lol. I thinks it's pretty amazing because pushing it, it feels like it weighs a ton more than the 250/310 but the ride tells another story. It is the perfect balance between stability and quick steering. At 230 pounds and enjoying the ride and being a little lazy, I think it's perfect but I also know it has the power to scare the crap out of me lol. Tomac during supercross said the power and handling would take some getting used to and that he needed to get in better shape. I thought for sure he would be on a 450 for the MX series but obviously that didn't happen.
Any 450 power should strike fear or don't buy it ... The conditioning on all the younger riders probably comes into play in the outdoors ... A couple yrs back Kdub rode a partial season and said it was just too hard to continue due to the grind ... CR22 has had issues finishing entire seasons and I think I read where he is gonna take time off again ... JB51 is showing up well and he might be some sort of barometer for an entire season of rookie racing ... Stew2 needs to get in better shape also I was reading .. We'll see if he can crack the top 10 before too long ... He seems much more laid back about all this than his brother.. -- There was a guy or 2 from Belgium who raced well also ... There was some huge jumps out there! -- Edit: KR94 has been looking very well in the last 2 MXdN against that level of competition... He's given RD5 and RV2 some pretty good battles in some of those motos. I'm not surprised at anything he wins ...
Tomac and Roczen both on the RynoPower program. Tomac steps it up with high altitude training- it paid off big time.
