3 of us went up and spent 10 hours clearing trails in out beloved trail system. Feels good to give back to a place you love to enjoy. It was a HARD 40 miles though with many (12+) large trees to cut and endless small ones. Cleared a lot of trails. All the pix are here http://motosportz.smugmug.com/gallery/5650663_HeqDz/1/347604096_zbsaZ#P-1-15 http://jmetteer.smugmug.com/gallery/5649930_W88Yg#347554026_w3XUC Most of the day went like this... and it is really fun riding deep woods with a saw and axe strapped to your back... My buddy Jake was an animal cutting trail and railing with all that crap on his back.
That was one hell of a fun day! Lots of work, and lots of trail opened up for the year. Kelly's bike didn't even fall off the trailer either... It was the first time I had taken a day off at the last minute in the middle of the week to go riding. It won't be the last. I can't think of a better way to spend a work day. This picture pretty much sums up how the day went for me. It was a mistake of some sort but kind of fits. Later,
epic is a good word to describe your picks nice job guys! hey, how did your trials tire work in the snow? have never tried that. thanks for the picks S.
