Yesterday, Kelly and I decided to go for a ride out of Diamond Mill. I had recently completed a full chasis rebuild on my wr125, and was super excited to get it out for the first ride...

Trails were great, weather was perfect, and bike was FAIR.... Have a swing-arm binding issue, which wanted to kick the rear way up over every kicker... Got that figured out.

My main issue was every time I would get on the gas, I was getting shocked REALLY bad through the levers... Anyone who rides a true 125 knows the importance of the clutch, and while I was excited everything was freshly lubed, I couldn't keep my fingers on the levers.. It was a pulsing shock. Everytime the spark plug fired above about 4k RPM, and my fingers were on the levers, I was getting zapped REALLY REALLY bad... Kelly seemed to think this was funny all day long...
PLEASE HELP ME SORT THIS OUT Any Ideas???

And now, onto the video. I finally figured out how to upload a high-quality video, so if your connection allows, it's there..

    Bloopers at the end!

It was kinda funny, sorry :D Check the coil ground and kill switch. Jake thinks it is the kill switch and that makes sense. Fun ride, thanks for the vid.

    Sweet!
Looks very similar to the vid I'm uploading right now

I hate that hill in the end! I see where Larry got caught up in the root ledge that I did. Ugggh!

The part where Blake is chasing me cracks me up as I had no idea he was back there. And I even looked over my shoulder at the top of the hill and didn't see him. Looked over the wrong shoulder, I guess :excuseme:

    That was good times!

We have been enjoying spring like weather all winter. Looks like a rain ride this weekend though... maybe some snow too. Yuk.

Nice, lets see that vid!!! I love watching other's video's... Larry only got caught up in that ledge, because adam got hung up a few feet up from there, and there was no way around him... It is fun to MOB up a gnarly hill, with a group of good riders, in a tight pack. Passing here and there.... NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, makes me giggle like a good pass, either taking, or losing a position...

As far as not knowing I was back there, I love that about our bikes.... They can sneak up on someone pretty easily...

More like where's your vid slacker?!?!?!?!

Clete, thats a damn shame??? What does that date signify?

On some rides where we are laughing and yelling at each other and blasting through the forest I am glad the general public is not there to see our behavior. They are for sure the rides I remember most though. :D
The 125 is alive, I may have even rode it up and down the street in front of my driveway today... And started it myself with my messed up leg. :banana:Progress.
