One of the other Italian cottage brands...... TM works of art. http://xoffroad.dueruote.it/bc_news/gallery.cfm?codice=393568&pagina=443641&codfoto=455455 Orgoglio Italiano= Italian Pride, that's the TM motto. Why are we not building our own bikes here......?
Why are we not building our own "REAL" bikes here......? R-J I fixed it for you. ("REAL"=competition)
I kind of miss the powder blue. And also the hot pink. The should have gone with chartreuse for a few years.
Agreed, TM's are works of art... Huskies don't look bad in TM colours either: Old story, but it's here: http://www.zigwheels.com/news-featu...k-up-with-tvs-via-its-husqvarna-brand/13506/1
TM missed the boat with that fat perimeter frame .. Interesting article and selling to > BIL customers as is the case in India, is a wet dream to many VPs ...New, smaller CC bikes? Sounds good to me and too bad the states has such a bad attitude on most any biker and bikes ... Bikes solve or help with many traffic problems such as parking, congestion, fuel economy but you gotta exploit the fact that they are a bike and not a car .., City folk should embrace them as is the case in Asia ....
Fat frames ? They are the thinnest bikes I've ever sat on all the way down to the foot pegs; at least the new ones. I've never sat on but one my old now my son's 2011 MX 250 but it's skinny and light.
I agree with you completely I would not know a single competition involving bikes where a Harley would be competitive in Robert-Jan
LOL I see. It does make working on the carbs harder than my Huskys but not as bad as the jap bikes where the sub frames neeed to come off.
Love my TM 125! Miss my 09 Husky Tiddler tho! Not sure which way I will go next....But it WILL be Italian! If I'm lucky maybe I will buy both.
