    Hi folks,
I've done a ton of reading so that I wouldn't post up questions that have been answered already.
However, I have a problem. I've got an 07 WR250. I've got a carb rebuild kit (says early TMX on it) from a local Husky shop. The kit has parts in it that are way different than my current carb setup.
    Currently:
    390 main
    30 pilot
clip in the top of a 6DJ8-60 needle (2.60mm above the taper)
    3.0 slide

I won't say the bike ran awesome, but it worked well (no plug fouling, started easy). I don't ride on the pipe alot. I like to lug it down low and use the bike to do multi-day long distance rides.

Kit: (says KX125 on the package)
    350 main
    45 pilot
Y281 needle (no idea where its from but measures 2.68mm above the taper) so leaner than current.

The Husky manual says the bike comes stock with:
    400 main
    J8-6DJ8-60 needle (3 rd clip)
    35 pilot
    4.0 slide

I ride in Ontario, Canada (mostly northern areas) but its roughly between 800ft-1500ft elevation.

My gut tells me to NOT use any of the parts I've listed from the kit. The chart in the Husky manual has me leaning towards maybe using a 35 pilot ( I have one), 390 main (existing), and existing -60 needle but I'll lower the clip to start. So, all I would change is the 30 pilot. I'd like to get better low end response and try to get better mileage. I will fine tune the air screw as well.
I sent the shop an email a week ago outlining my setup and questions but got no answers.

The bike was originally raced in the Southern US (Georgia, Florida) by an A rider and I had some fouling issues when I first got it (2009) but sorted that out. I've run the current carb setup since 09.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    cheers,
    alex

I wouldn't try the jets in that kit. Your at the same elevation as me. The 350 main is way too small and the 45 pilot is way too big. You should be pretty close with the jets you've got now but don't be afraid to experiment. My bike is an 08, it likes the stock needle in the 3rd clip 380 or 370 main, 30 or 27.5 pilot.
