Has anyone switched to TMXX38 Mikuni carb? My friend has one sitting off his WR125 and was wondering if I wanted to try it out.

    First, what's the difference?
Second, what gains/losses would I get out of the switch?
Third, what jet sizes should be used? The current settings I have now?

It would be too short. Maybe it would work with a reed spacer

IF...it fit. youd gain bottom and loose top and 125 jetting would prolly be way too fat in most cases. generally speaking smaller carbs gernate more velocity @ a given openeing due to a smaller venturi. it's trying to suck the same air through a smaller hole. this can benefit some engines low speed opperation to a degree etc etc....

Thanks for the help. I didn't know it was shorter. Case closed.
