Hi All. After some advise - I don't get to ride my WR often so I have been taking it for a quick 2 to 3 min run most weeks. It's got harder to start and fouled the plug today. Question is am I better to leave it alone between rides or run it for longer? (which is hard where I live as no tracks only road and the bike is only just legal due to non standard size plate, and it's horrible on the road!!!)

    Many thanks in advance

Take it out for a decent ride Give it a good thrashing every time
You could leave it sit for a month or two
It must be hard to find places to ride in the uk - I grew up there myself

Thanks Rockdancer. Yep the UK isn't dirtbike friendly at all. So much land is in private hands and most that has a helpful land owner can't be used due to complaints.. God forbid anyone wanted to enjoy their spare time!! Rant over!... Thanks for the advise. I hope to race at least once a month as a minimum so it sounds like I'm better leaving her stood between races.

You lucky devil living in Oz!!

hay myles, hook up with the green lane crew there are loads of us an they go out most weekends, the po po dont care about tiny plates so long as your being sencible. i ride in teh woods yes its privatly ownd but not been caught or told off in 4 years.
long runs are preferable as the exhaust has time to scavenge properly and opening her up will give you a different fuel mix throughout the rev range..
