To those of you running bar risers......

    What size risers are you running? Did you guys have any problems with cable lengths and if so how did you work around it?

    I am going with a 1" rise, but I don't have anything installed yet. Ken Webb posted issues you may have in the TR650 Mods thread starting with page 5. Others have had no issues at all with a 1" rise, but that seems to be the max.

    I have 2 inches of rise and the cables are fine. The bike fits sooooo much nicer for me now!

    That's very good to know! I can lift my bars only about 3/4" before I get in a bind, so I guess the cables can be manipulated a lot.

    do people run solid bar rubbers as mine are perished and im thinking of turning a set of solid ali ones up is this a good idea?
    oh and no for risrs for me my legs have plenty of room in the cockpit!
