Looks like Suzuki sprang for a new set of tires for R. Dungey, best starts he has had all year and that is what he needed. Now if they had just put on a new chain at the beginning of the season.... Of course I am making jokes about Suzukis budget cuts, and the departure of R. Decoster has set Dungey back but looks like he is clawing back. I continue to be impressed with the grit and determination of Chad Reed, I think he is doing this because he loves racing. I don't think he has ever won the championship when everyone was healthy, this could be his chance. GP
Yeah, it's nice to see Dungey doing better and sharing the wins to make the season even more interesting. I have to say that although I am not a Canard fan, I could get to like the guy as he is clean yet aggressive, and loves whipping that Honda around. I reckon if RV can stay uninjured he still looks the best to take the season out, especially with Bubba's recent off-track "issues" with the law and the funny things happening within his team. But my respect and admiration has to go to Reed. No-one honesty thought he would even be reasonably competitive in his first year as a team owner and after having such a bad year last year. But man he is showing his metal, and in a typically consistent Reed way with always being up front and collecting points. He looks to have the suspension dialled in now, but the way he's turning (high lines, pretty slow) makes me think he'ss till not 100% comfortable on his bike. That I find exciting as it means there is more to come from him. The only other noteable thing for the season so far is that Windham just isn't featuring. I had really hoped he was going to be mixing it up with the guys up front rather than being in Class B of the field.
i just got back to halfway following the sport at the begining of last season. i liked how dungey won in his rookie year and became a fan of the "new kid" but i also like windham too just for the old man factor. would be nice to see him win one before the season ends.
Windham might might finally be running out of steam... I like Trey Canard and I think lately he has been showing he is fast as anyone for a few laps, with more experience he might be tough. Some don't like him because he is open about his faith, but I give him credit for standing up for what he believes, takes courage. GP
your probably rite with windham winding down, i mean hes at that age that most pros are hittin retirement in the majority of the sports. i noticed that canard has been comin on too, you see what him and dungey were arguing about a cpl races back by any chance?
No, I don't know what that was about, but I know Dungey is a very clean rider so I don't know if canard did something or what. GP
ya i dunno either, i thought it was pretty out of character for dungey from what ive seen of him so he must have been hot lol oh well part of the fun i guess. cant wait till st louis im takin my boy, first supercross for both of us. ive been to a cpl arena cross shows here at the local convention center but never the big boys
