TR650 Piston Terra/Strada I'm just putting feelers out there for those that may have a motor in need. I have a bike that needs a new piston but they are NLA. Even used are scarce or very expensive. And in case you didn't know, any other Rotax 650 single piston will not cut it. The Husqvarna motor was specifically tuned by the the R&D team with forged internals and the BMW versions are cast and not suitable. There was a guy here who rebuilt his engine using a custom manufactured piston from a Greek engineering firm. These are not forged. I have had quotes from other firms and was quoted ridiculous prices. I did get a positive response from Wiseco in the US and their service sounds great, forged & machined to suit. However they require a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces. Please indicate if you are seriously interested and I will try & organize a group buy.
