Sorry to see that. They can't start it without a key, so I'm guessing it'll get parted out. For my own benefit, I'm curious if the steering lock was set? If I happen to see some sign of it or the parts I'll post here. Good luck!
Man that sucks, get it on facebook, a mate had his werock buggy stolen and it was found the day after before any damage was done.
I was wondering what the 2nd guy was doing with the front wheel. They must know that breaking the steering lock is an easy 2 man trick on other bikes too. Real sorry. As a theft deterrent in the future may I suggest covering your bike with this. Unless your next bike is a KLR......then dont bother.
get a good lock too.. & secure it to something, like that telephone pole... http://www.kryptonitelock.com/en/pr...yptonite:product/category/motorcycle-security
It looks like those punks picked the wrong guy to steal from. I think they're going to have a hard time unloading that bike, whether it be as a whole bike or as parts. They definitely won't be able to advertise it because you'll be all over it.
Does the white vehicle that they stop near with the bike look like any that you can see traveling down the road near the bike? I though I remembered a van driving by in your earlier video(s) and wondered if it was involved. Did any of the videos show them loading the bike up?
That's just neighbor's Land Rover. It appears he hid behind it briefly when the bus was coming and then kept on moving. I was kinda hoping that this new footage would show that.
They also picked the wrong bike to steal. This thing got discontinued right off the bat. it's going to be hard to sell it in one piece online, and tougher to sell it in pieces. There's like only one person on ebay parting their tr650 out, so If some new seller pops up, that'll be a good lead.
Whats the penalty over there for stealing a bike? Over here unless it belonged to a judge cop or politician the inertia for anything would be significant.
As far as an ignition, yes, it's like going through Congress to get a new one: except thieves will just hot wire it and have an indiscreet toggle switch hidden somewhere near the battery box. Your bike did look much more expensive than it was. They may have thought it was a Ducati. i hope you get it back soon, and the thieves get a little NYC justice.
