Load equalizers and load resistors are basically the same thing. IMHO they are all junk. Since LED light typically draw 2 to 3 watts to operate versus 27 watts, the load is not high enough to make the bimetallic point in the flasher relay to get hot enough to operate. All you need is a electronic relay that is not load dependant. There are many on the market.Why change to LED if your are not going to save the power for other accessories? Cheers
Exactly. For my KLR, I got a electronic flasher from a local autoparts store. They were cheap and and worked great.
