A friend of mine came over last night and we set out to build some single track in my backyard, as well as dip into my neighbors yard a bit. There is a large ravine behind my property and his house is waaaaaayyyyy on the other side of the ravine, so im just gonna call my side of the ravine my property for now. :D We ended up in the middle of the forest in the pitch dark with no lights, the last 100 yards was excavating by feel trying to avoid logs with brush 5' over my head...lol

We had the trail building machine for its first test run building trails...it was awesome! It picked up huge trees, ripped out roots and bulldozed a 28" wide trail.

What some of it started as, blackberries.

One pass with a gas hedge trimmer and the little machine and voila!

This dips down about 15' into the ravine then back up again

Cool!!! A buddy of mine just ended up with 40 acres of prime land with 3 miles of trail already on it. I went over the other day and we started doing more to it. should be fun.

ya what you could do with 40 acres....im cutting this trail with lots of underbrush around to keep the noise contained.

    Nice!

Another option might be to send in the crazy riders to make the trails that way (not me).
