Has anybody switched out the stock speedo/computer with a Endurance? After researching I found one that was universal? Seems simple enough to install but I would like to use the stock cable? I called Trail Tech and their thoughts were that it wouldn't work and I would have to use thier cable. Haven't done it yet and I just wanted to reach out to Husky Cafe to see if this ha sworked or hasn't work?? Thanks in advance fellow Husky drivers!!!

I don't know if this helps but I have the trail tech vector and the stock speedo cable (09 wr300) plugged right into it.

It worked great until I tweaked the cable a couple rides ago.

Now I just guess how fast I am going-makes for better stories. :D

I actually have a new stock cable sitting in the garage which I'll throw on this weekend and hopefully I'll be back to getting honest readings.

I used the KTM cable that they have on the Trailtech site for mine. I have the Endurance also. I just Ziptied the mount to the stock Husky mount. Which speedo do you have ? I had the small one from a bicycle on mine.

I got the bigger one (vapor) from kelly at motosportz. the standard ktm one fits the wr300 and the stock cable plugs right into it, so now I have a spare cable.

I have used the endurance in the past, and they are nice, but I have had 2 of them die from water. they are only sold as water-resistant, so raging downpours, or trailering in a raging downpour, may make them unhappy. the vapor has bigger numbers and is supposed to be waterproof. my old one mostly survived a 45mph head-on collision too.
