Trail Tech X2 on a 2008+ TE 450/510

    Is there anyone out there with a 2008 TE 450 or 510 that has the new Trail Tech X2 HID or Halogen? If you have either model, did you have to upgrade your stator? Also, does the unit just plug in where the stock one does? I'm looking to upgrade for the Baja trip. ***I already asked Kelly and he wasn't sure***

    If the Baja trip is the only reason for upgrading it is possible a bike would be there you could borrow - depending how hard/long you want to ride. I have no inside info though.

    If the HID is drawing 35watts or less (and thats normal for HID), you will be fine. :thumbsup:
