SO I took a nasty header today. Gonna need a new helmet and new left shroud (upper and lower). The upper one snapped... and the lower one is MIA. My head is BANGING, but through the fog, I seem to recall some rumblings about graphics being impregnated INTO the 2010 plastics? Is there any truth to that?

Where's the best place to get new plastics? Husky, acerbis, UFO, etc?

    Thanks to all!
    Andy

It's true that the 2010 plastics have no stick on decals. Now wether they changed them at all so there exclusive to 2010, have to wait and see.
Hope your head is ok, no concusion?

I hope you feel better soon. Yes, the 2010 graphics are in-mould/embedded for the shrouds and side panels (small, small section on the side panels), but you have to order them up ASAP because it takes forever for dealers to get the 2010 stuff in from Husky. I ordered a set and the shrouds that came in, but I'm waiting for the matching side panels.

Thanks guys, that helps TREMENDOUSLY! I'll see about ordering a set. I noticed a bunch of oil on the top of the swingarm, and a small puddle on the ground. it appears to be dripping from the airbox, so I assume it's from the valve cover breather?

I need to spend some time making sure everything is right before I take her back out on the trails.

I was in 3rd gear and had it pinned going through a rocky section... bounced over far enough and the bars caught a small pine tree. All I remember after that is pain in my head and back. Bike was a short distance away and facing the other direction from the way I was traveling. Dunno. lol. Headache is about gone, and I'm feelin' perty good.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Wow glad you are alright, 3rd gear pinned is very fast. Yes the new 2010 plastic is very cool my son has the 2010 TC250 and it's molded in for sure. Now thats how you fix peeling decals. Now stay away from the trees and get yourself well.

I would check with your local dealer first. I believe the pricing on new plastic will be very reasonable. You just have to fine someone that has them.:D
