My friend is creating bags for holding tools and assorted things for riding around here in Idaho..
I already have his Map bag that I can't live without and holds my glasses and cell phone but these were different....

they are pretty much low profile saddle bags that go over the seat... took my tool pack today and split it between both sides with an extra jersey in case it got cold .. turned out to be a nice day so it wasn't needed.

I was skeptical at first that it would restrict my movement on the bike but that was not the case and I came away very impressed...and I don't have the weight of the tools on my back.

These are not for sale as of yet and he is demoing these right now with me and other riders... Let me know what you think ...

Kinda look like my wolfman e-10's. But bigger. The tether system on the back looks familiar too. Do they flop around without the back of the bags tied down?

    Those look pretty good Kevin.
I like the idea of no racks.
What is the capacity of them?

No flopping around and they were very secure... as far as capacity I had maybe 10 pounds in each side today and they could have held more...

These look good, and maybe waterproof? One thing that I would want (would be a deal breaker for me) is to have tie back straps from the back of each bag to the back of the bike. I know that it is more difficult to find connection points that way, but it makes the bags much more secure location wise when it gets rough on the trail.

I'm not a huge fan of saddle bags but I'm willing to keep an open mind. I'm thinking about riding long Offraod trips without a chase vehicle and "hotel-hop" my way from point to point. Can't carry everything on my back so I'm looking for options. I get a little support from Igio so I'm going to try their saddle bag/tank/rear bag setup. The straps connect securely to the my subframe and Nomadikrack I'm running. And I like the way they hang way back out of the way. Tank bag seems a little cramped but like I said, I'm trying to keep an open mind.
