OK, been using TT for a while now and just cant handle the new changes they did. The web site is dog slow, its contantly running scripts in the backgroup with invasive ads. I just found myself using it less and less.

    On a side note:
I grew up racing mx and the best bike I ever had was my 87 Husky cr 250. Rode and raced that thing every single weekend for 4 years straight and seriously never did anything to it other than replace a throttle cable that fraid and and broke. I currently have an 06 KTM 525 but am gonna possibly trade her in for an left over 09 WR 300. I love the big bikes but miss two strokes. I ride the tight goat trails of the PNW and everyone looks at me like I am crazy for having the water buffalo 525. ITs not that bad actually. as a matter of fact I have been thinking of switching to the 300 for three months now and still am doubting myself. Someone please tell me I will truely love the 300 so much I wont even think of the 525 anymore? Because that 525 has been truely a great bike.

The 525 is pretty good in the tight considering the reciprocating engine mass etc. That said the 300 will stun you with its flickability c/w the 525. I have only had an hour on an 09 WR 300 and thought it was great, amazing grunt, pretty wide power band just wish it had an electric leg. I must confess it did start up easily every time I stalled it, amazed at how I have lost my 2 stroke riding technique. As an aside have a ride of the TE 310 and 450 for a sense of what else is out there, also the WR250.
Hopefully we can get you back in to the merry Husky brother and sisterhood

I know what u mean about the 525. I still miss mine but love my TE250. I had to learn to ride differently tho. Good luck on your 300. Looks awesome!!

Yep, nice bike ... These are very good engines ... It should have that big bore grunt at the bottom and scream out the top ... That bike should be ~bullet proof also ;) ...

How has the bike been performing this first ~month of riding? ... I bent the pipe up big time on my CR250 ... I'd agree about the pipe guard ...

TT lost over a months worth of data that apparently is not coming back ... makes you wonder what they are doing over ;0) ... Change again? lol ... that place is clown central if they do ... Maybe they have a hidden agenda?
