I doubt anyone used them at the ISDE. A few friends of mine that normally use Tireballs wont even use them at the ISDE. Mousse is the only guarantee against a flat.
That's exactly what I'm hearing. Assuming I qualify, I'll bring mousses with me, but so far I like the TuBliss enough I plan to go with them. If I have any problems at the qualifiers, I'll just use them for my normal riding, but I'd sure like to ditch that dead weight and sluggish feel of the foams.
Surely the tubliss doesnt prevent a flat though... If you hole the tyre you will lose the pressure? There are afew guys using Tireballs at the ISDE without any problems. Jeff Fredette, Ben Smith. I use them and they are great, 1k lighter than a set of mousses! Alec UK
