I am a recent owner of a Husky 2006 TE 450. I added a few things such as 4 electrosport LED turnsignals. Everything worked without upgrading to the electrosport flasher.
On my last trip, I went through some brush and lost the rear two turn signals.
Now, the front turn signals no longer work, and now that I have replaced the rear signals, none of the 4 signals work.
Where do I start in the troubleshooting process?

On our SM510, the connector on the stock flasher relay got tweaked over time and quit making a connection. You might check that...I thought the design was pretty shoddy. I had to replace the unit.

I have a similar problem with my 2008 TE510. When I bought it (used) I didn't notice that the front turn signals were not working (aftermarket non-led) so I took the headlight off and found out they were not hooked up. After hooking them up the rear signals stopped working. I talked to the previous owner said he wasn't sure why that had happened but that is why he disconnected the front ones. I replaced the flasher unit with an aftermarket unit and they all started working, for about a week. Now the rear turn signals don't work again. I haven't spent any time trying to figure it out yet.

I have an '09 TE450. Everytime I wash my bike now the blinkers stop working. They slowly come good, I suspect it to be the flasher. It is the unit under the seat right? Is it a solidstate device?

It is under the seat on the left hand side behind the panel. It is a solid state device.

What would cause my blinkers to stop working after I wash my bike? After afew days they seem to fade back in but the blinking is erratic... I've pulled apart connectors and sprayed them with electrical cleaner/water displacer but doesn't seem to fix it.

Ok, a little more info that may help the original poster, but not sure about apnea. I worked on mine for about an hour tonight. The previous owner had installed MOTRAX DinkyWinkaz on the front and rear. I bought a new pair for the rear because I wasn't sure if the bulbs had blown and they are impossible to replace because the signals are so small. I hooked up the new ones off the bike just to make sure they worked and they did. Great, problem solved. I installed them on the bike and was doing one last test before buttoning it up and no go, dead again. Took it back apart, redid the connections and it worked. Back on the bike, stopped working. I won't tell you how many times I did this.

The signals stop working when they make connection with the frame. If I touch the metal on the frame with the stem of the signal I can see small sparks. There is a ground problem. Now how to fix it. I'm not sure yet, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know.
