turning off light will it run ok??

Hi guys.. just a quicky
going racing tomorrow and do not want to have the front headlight on..
whats best way to turn it off? pulling bulb? still need the actual unit just do not want it turned on.

i feel real dumb for asking but i read a review where someone stripped off the front light and the bike would not run right? resistor or something like that.

Would also like to remove the rear at time to time.. its the power up version would this be ok if the front was..

My thought ... Would it matter if the head or tail light blew while riding ??? Still in the socket but not able to pull power..

I removed my front number plate and disconnected the headlight with no issues today.

turning off (if you had a off switch) disconnecting, unplugging bulb, running with a bad bulb, et all will not cause a problem.

I'd take the whole assemble off- and run a number plate off a TXC, if I were racing in places where I didn't need it- just because the assembly can be costly if you cross it up with a tree- been there done that
