Any word on fuel tank size? Yamaha is introducing a few new models this year (new r300 sportbike). Good for them on expanding and trying to reel ktm back in. Awesome platform to start with

The only thing I don't like about that Wr is that the headlight looks like something out of the original 'war of the worlds' movie

Is the power tuner free with the bike? Dont think so. In that case you could buy a PCV and tune your 511 for about the same money and have many more features to tune with.

I loved my '02 YZ250 smoker in the woods. Bought if from Kelly pretty much all setup. Was amazed by the handling, felt like it would run circles around my '04 KTM 250 EXC smoker. It's too bad they don't offer a serious, modern, offroad 2 stroke line and are leaving it all to KTM and a few other small players. I guess the bean counters have determined the market is just not there.

In the vid, I think he mentions its an optional accessory. Still, even if its a semi-spendy accessory, at least its a factory accessory, so hopefully it will work well right out of the box (not that the aftermarket tuners don't work out of the box, I really don't know anything about then).

Even if they jump back into the market i bet it would be hard to get a good piece of the market. Most offroad riders now seem to just like the idea of owning a euro bike.

Maybe with some luck, if these sell well, the Japanese manufacturers will expand their Enduro offerings and help level off/slow the pricing of the European bikes.

That is true but, there have been a few dealers that will throw it one to sweeten a deal over here, and you can share a unit with a buddy who has a YZ/WR as well.
The main point I was making is that it IS tunable ex-factory, not locked.

Heavy, weights 4 pounds heavier than a stock TE511. Then again, fat chicks need love too...
