I am thinking about selling my 2008 TXC 250 and wanted to ask what do you think it is worth? I have owned it for about a year and it was not ridden much before then. I have put the athena 300 kit on it and the suspension has been revalved for the woods by W.E.R.. It has an uptite skid plate and exhaust guard. New handlebars with brush guards. and a motosportz kickstand. I also just put in a brandnew turnrech battery. Any thoughts?
Here is a Classifieds ad for a 2008 Husqvarna 250 TXC He is or was asking $4000.00 US for it. Good place to start. If you edit your post with a price, I will move it to the classifieds for you. Or you can delete this one and do it yourself.
I've seen a couple of TXC 450's for just under $4000. Tough time to be selling. Why are you getting rid of it?
I'm not sure he can delete his post because he started the thread - why don't you make a test account to test those types of things. I have in the past but do not recall all those niggly details. Might be best to have him put a new post in the classifieds with pics, contact info, etc. $4000 sounds like a good place to start to me. Especially with the $1000 special going on right now... and that dealer in MN is starting to put bikes on ebay again.
I am thinking of selling it because I also have a 09 WR125 and I thought I would have time for both of them but I am enjoying riding the 125 more so it seems a shame to let the 250 just sit there while someone else could be riding it. Thanks for the feedback so far. I will post it in the classified section when I decide to sell it. Any more thoughts on the right price?
O.K., that was great news, I already had my new TXC-450 or WR-300 picked out as of 3 weeks ago as my local dealer has both, until I read that the special ended April 30th. Now why didn't he tell me about that? Think it was becuase what he really wanted to sell me was his slightly used '09 WR-250 (which would not have qualified, or was selling it to me at his price and putting the $1,000 in his pocket)??? The salesman strikes again.
