How do these bikes compare to a 07 ktm 450 xcw.I'm not sure witch one would be better for me.I'm 6'3 235 geared up.I ride tight eastern woods.A lot of mud rocks and hills,I've been thinking about a 510,but im worried it might be to much.or can you just put it in third gear and roll with it.i love my ktm,i've just been on rfs's since 04,and would like to try somthing new.

IMHO you should try a TXC 250. I have gone from the 510 to the 450 and am now on the 250/300 and will never go back to a bigger bike for woods riding. Tough to beat a well set up 250f in the woods.

We have the TXC 450 with Rekluse and I can't imagine needing any more power. Its a tractor and a complete cheater bike. Haha. We also have a 510 SMR and I rode it on a trail once...it was too much work for me (I normally ride a 315 XCF-W). The 450 is a much better compromise to me. I don't know about the 450 XCW, but we had a 525 EXC and I would call the TXC far superior.
