I cannot get the power relay (fuel pump/ignition) to trigger when I switch on the kill switch. The relay is a known good relay, as is the kill switch. It appears to me that the relay is triggered by the ecu providing ground, via the yellow and blue wire, to the terminal on the relay. If I ground that terminal manually with a jumper wire, the relay triggers, the fuel pump runs, and I have power at the coil. I have checked the yellow and blue wire for rubs or breaks between the relay and the ecu connector and couldn't find any visually. I checked, and have continuity from the relay connector, to the pin in the ecu connector. Has anyone else run into this that can provide any insight? I'm starting to see the potential of a bad ECU, but want to cover all bases first.

Should be able to get a used ecu on ebay?

I've been looking on ebay but haven't found any. I emailed motosupplies in the UK and they said they have one from a TE250. Not sure if that would work or not, and not sure yet what it would cost with shipping to the US. I'd also like to confirm my diagnosis before I throw parts at it - but unfortunately I think that requires an ecu to swap for a test.

Check to see if you have a good ground connection at the ecu. Not familiar with the bike but if you can split the case on ecu you can check the solder joints for the connector.

I have good ground at the ECU connector, via the solid dark blue wire. I have not attempted to split open the ecu. I have to imagine that would likely end with me purchasing a new ecu anyway haha. Does anyone know if a TE250 ECU will work in the TXC? I know the ecu swap is usually the other way around...
