Those look nice but that will not work with the tank I have or the two others I have seen (TXC250 / TXC450) these are early black IMS tanks and there is about a 16th inch between the front and the steer tube. Looks like some IMS tanks fit with more space. Might be possable to heat and relieve those that do not.

Thanks for the post. And thanks George for building that.

    How much?

Have put them on tanks that are close like yours. The angle of the sub tower is such that the tank can be shoved down past it. The plastic is at least1/4 thick and can be filed slightly, heating and pushed in also works.
Palmer84one is bringing his in next week and will do his so will have pics on how too.
Sub Tower is billit 400M chromolly, has 2 set screws along with clamping bolt so cannot twist in steering stem, the tower pin receiver is a blind hole so pin cannot drop down to jam-up link arm. Just these 2 features would have given us podium finishes in Baja, reason for disigning it that way. Also tower pin receiver has extra taper machined into so if extra tight fitting tank can get it off. Nothing can be perfect but it's close and very easy to make work.
Works on the TE610's andSm's with mod to top triple clamp.
They are $250.00 with $185.00 cost on machine time alone, starts out at over 5 lbs round of 400m(not cheap) to less than 6 oz makes for lot of chips. Might be little rich for some but it's the real deal as nothing comes close.
When it comes to winning or losing only way to go. Later George

Great info, thanks. Could it not be made from 2 parts like the steel Scotts unit saving time / money? Really appreciate you pursuing this.

Possible but if I was in the business just make money would think about it. Later George

Stroker Ace and I were at Georges shop last week and we saw this same stabilizer mount. I'm really impressed with the quality of this thing. Solid.

The Uptight looks very clean. But, it has the sub mount clamps? Doesn't SCOTT's have a setup with the regular mount and collar? Doesn't this, the regular top mount, fit the same or will the IMS get in the way?
