Hi guys I am hoping for some help. I am looking at buying a 2008 Husky 510SMR whilst doing some research I noticed that every Ten thousand kms ( Australian kms ) you need to change the timing chain and connecting rod as part of husky's maintenance schedule. Now the bike is on 9.5k and the bike has been very well looked after and maintained when I asked the seller about the con rod and timing chain change he said that he would give me some money towards the change of the timing chain which would just about cover it but he told me that he had installed a larger water pump & radiators which eliminates the con rod problem by keeping it cooler? I just wanted to get other peoples take on this wether upgrading the pump & rads would eliminate the con rod problem? Thanks a lot guys meant to be looking at the bike tomorrow so hoping to get some views asap Thanks again.
