V-Force Reed Block for 500AE

I thought I read in a thread here that the reed block for a CR250 was tha same as the CR500 which would also fit a 500AE, is that right?

I am restoring an '84 500AE and I have found a guy in the US who has a V-Force reed block for an '84 CR250.
