Very Close to TE630 Purchase - Essential Mods?

I put my ZX-10R on the chopping block and found a buyer. Provided the sale doesn't fall through, I should be getting the ball rolling on a new TE630.

As far as mods go, I'm mostly interested in just general tip-over protection to start. Here's what I have planned:

skid plate
radiator guards
brush guards
fender eliminator (very much interested in making my own, just not sure how doable that is with the 630)
axle/frame sliders

I don't have the details worked out yet, because dual sports are an entirely new frontier for me. I don't know what the good stuff is yet. I'm not so sure about the sliders. I consider them essential on sportbikes, but other than the motards, I haven't seen them on DS bikes. I understand that any sort of slider might catch in the dirt and flip the bike, which is bad.

What about case savers? How much of a risk is there of the rear brake pedal punching a hole in the case?

I'm looking for brand suggestions and other suggestions for tip-over protection.

Mate the 630's are not released as yet so some of the parts you are seeking may take a little longer than the eventual release date. That said if you are going to do true DS stuff incliding overnight/s etc the definately the following are recommended basics;
Barkbusters, bashplate, rear carry rack, rear disc guard, possible fork and shock spring upgrade if either a heavy individual or carrying a lot of gear or both. Radiator guards and or braces are a great addition as are heated handle bars, axel pullers. I also like some for of swing arm protection, usually in the form of strong and thick stickers etc. Case savers should not be necessary as the bash plate will provide sufficient coverage.Finally I would not bother with sliders.

Yeah, I figured with it being a new model I might be waiting a while for this kind of stuff. That's ok; I'm not real hard on my bikes anyway.
