Good friends, 10's of thousandths of acres of private land to free ride, perfect weather, what's not to like? Had a super fun weekend exploring a friends ranch. Cool gullies, rocky out croppings, deer, antelope, cows. Rode the ATK as i sold my huskys and have not picked up the 09 WR125 yet. We took 8 bikes for 4 guys including trials bikes. Jake (TXC250) Shane (CR500) Sonny (WR450) Yes, we can ride everything you can see... See the bike? Sonny is a crazy dude from Denmark, great guy. He needs aunicycle as he is ether on the front wheel, rear wheel or in the air. Fun riding with sonny, always entertaining. Jake getting some air... Sonny joining in... Shane, on top of the world one wheel Sonny Jake says, me too... man this area was cool and diverse... Jake saying, Look at my Motosportz products...
Big kick stand... Nice plate Sonny... I don't think Jake is enjoying himself... made in Utah Time for some trials bike action. Jake was much more talented then the rest of us on these for sure.. i tried... Cleared stuff and felt confident and then decided to toss Jakes bike on the ground (I owe him some bike damage :>) this pretty much sums up the day...
More pix from Jakes cam... New tech mounted to old tech Sponsor photo Don't do it... ha ha ha ha Sonny hoping some hot chick will find his pot of gold...
Wow, that is some really nice real estate. I like all the "make your own trails as you go" terrain and the old builings that look like they'd fall down if you sneezed near them.
that place is really epic,,,,I see in my minds eye just endless epic single track lines,,,K you posted that zone before , right? Man that is super nice. Hey nice Trials bike stuff! and the stoppies are great for foto ops! Thats a 406 right? Or did they go bigger? that rotax was a fun motor, if I remember right it had reeds on one port or set of ports (central to the crankcase) and was piston port on the side ports. I did the old stuff the fins with hi temp hose pieces and she ran much smoother and quieter, plus a diet of race gas. that motor is so over built the internals (gears) are like a battle ship engine room.very cool
Luckyyyyy Gosh! That sure looks like a great area to ride. I'm with robertaccio on this one, I was imagining endless single track in every pic. Pretty sweet
Oh man I almost forgot about about the air cooled bikes' steam show when fording!! Very cool and never from a boil over!!
A few of Sonny's pics. I usually don't get many pictures of me so this time you get to see a few. It is practically a Jake admiration post. I kinda rode myself into a corner here... So happy to have long legs at this point The rear wanted to pass the front here Later,
Yeah he is slacking on the pictures. This is the big rock... Doesn't look all that big in the pictures. Hopefully the angle you got looks better. Later,
Great stuff Kelly. Everyone should have a Trials bike. I want one. Truns small riding areas into hours of fun and skill sharpening. Dale
