sold my TXC (to get the new TEi511) and the 144 needs chan -n- sprokets, air filter cleaned, fork seal changed. So I grabbed this one. It really is a great bike and my buddy with the 07 WR250 wants to trade me since the first day he threw a leg over it. We both like it over the 07

Here it is. 12 years ago when i started riding Gifford this was a scary hill that took help to get up. Not it is a freeway in comparison. Used to be super tight and nasty off camber step ups. The one with the tree and root wad (3:10) was nearly impassable. Now i hardly slow down. that freaking 94 WXC250 has a ton of bottom and will idle up everything not breaking a sweat. Amazing. Thats buddy Scott scaring the crap out of me at the beginning. Funny dude and we are always doing crap like this to each other. Almost scared him off his bike once. Good fun.

    Sorry about the F-bomb.

the gopro wide (not HD) mounted to my chin protector on the helmet. Works GREAT. The HD takes much better footage but is 4x bigger and will not play back on everyone PC.

Here is Jakes HD chasing me. The quality is amazing. Hit 720 and then expand it.

So if you want to just simply capture good ride vid the Gopro wide is very good. If you want fantastic quality and have a fast PC and fast upload get the HD.

Gifford is kind of far drive for me but doable in a day. I mainly ride Taenum/Mad lake. I can ride gnarely stuff, do the desert 100 every year etc but have been too chicken to go up there as I am deathly and I mean deathly scared of those cliff drop offs. I just freeze and get vertigo. So far I could handle all I saw. Are their loops to still get up there and avoid the cliffs? I haveseen picts of shark rock(no thanks). With my trials tire on I know I could go up that devils backboe but would prefer the downhill(lol). Do you have video of the worst cliff riding so I can stop being a wus and coinvince myself to go?

Yes have done shark rock many times. How about up it, not getting off, no help with 50 pounds of chain saw and tools on your back while your buddy (spotter :>) is taking pix :D

    (my 08 TXC450 back then)

I just built a chain saw mount for my WXC so I don't ever have to pack trail tools like that again, it SUCKS

Some how skinny little Jake packs crap on his back like it is not there. He is 15 years younger than me but it is no fun regardless...
