View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAFKPNcCIdA Well here is round 2 of the Nationals.I really had a good time I I got a little carried away talking/screaming at my self on loop 2, funny to hear after the race.Any way the bike ran great and never missed a beat. Also for some reason I got 30 miles per gallon which I never have got that before There is just something about a 125 on the pipe that makes riding one fun.
oem carb? oem jetting? 165cc kitted? 32:1 yamalube? just askin..... WB165 no science project just get out and ride it/race it most important pit job the anti gas in the crotch protection rag man!!! I y'all understand just how steep alot of the hills are. sometimes you can look down into the canyons and get an idea where John just came from (been there too and lots are really steep up and down)
I swear the CARB is bone stock as delivered from the factory on my 2008 CR 125 I have NEVER jetted it NEVER same set up when it was a 125 and now as a 165 NEVER jetted from below sea level to up over 6,000 feet I run race gas mixed some where close to 35 almost 40 to 1 with Lucas 2 stroke oil You all here it run race after race from super tight like KOM to wide open desert Now Mr Walt has a new Lectron Carb for me to try and I just can not wait to see if it will run any better The bike flat works and I do enjoy riding it
I love your videos, cause I can't ride that fast and after the race my back doesn't hurt!! Smokin Joe said you are a wild man. We were almost neighbors, my father owned auto Parts & Salvage back in the mid to late seventies and eighties. Doug Kopp owned Ajax back then. Keep up the great racing, I'm enjoying it.
Great stuff as usual John! You must have been having a ball on the 2nd lap. I can't believe that 165 just keeps running that well. Huge amount of race hours and just keeps ripping.
No, my dad's name was Ben. I moved to Orange County around 85 or 86. I don't remember when my dad sold. Bunky sounds familiar, I think that is who my dad got AP&S from.
