I saved I'm guessing an 80's something Husqvarna enduro from being scrapped. I can't find any decals with the cc, and I can't get any info from the serial/vin number on the neck. Its ( 1W 016753) can anyone tell me the year and model of this bike? thanks

    I think a picture would help, as I don't see any 1W number's

There should be some numbers / letters before the one you have given.
The 1996 model line up used "1W" in the frame number. But it will be prefixed with the model. Is it watercooled ?? As ruwfo said ..... pictures please.

yes, it is water-cooled , I kinda stripped it down but it was complete. i think it has the 84 style gas tank.

84 can tell not an 83 not by the tank which is an 84 but the 84 VIN had "Husqvarna 1" before the C, W, or X as Cali needed Vins to be 16 digits long in 84.....a little history there.
0962 is a 125 motor. so....a water cooled 1984 WR 125. Very tough to find stuff for and looks like you are a couple grand away from redone. Better cores out there and that is better donor for other parts needed. Just sayin' Have done many early 80 125's. Crank alone will run ya $400 for the part....pipe is rare too (1 year only)

Thank you for the info! Of course I got the one you can't find parts for lol ,but for $60 not bad I guess. The only thing that's really missing is the exhaust pipe. The engine is seized and it doesn't have the piston just the rod. trans is complete and in good condition. Can you suggest any good places to look for parts? thanks again

took 5 months to find a crank foran identical bike recently. you got a project ahead of you. like i said use the stuff as "parts" and find a more suitable candidate. You could spend a couple grand and still not be ahead of starting with a better usable core for about a grand....just sayin. Bottm end , rod, and crank is expensive

husqvarnaparts. com for general bits and HVA factory has some hard to get engine bits... plenty of pipe makers will make you a good pipe. dc plastics have some plastics....part of the fun, let your fingers do the lookin.

ol mate had a new one years ago and we couldn't figure it out? wish I knew what happened to it. he traded it in on a kdx 200..better bike overall but pooh brakes c/w the H and the ride wasn't quite as good but the motor killed the white screamer.

hope you get keen and pull it back together will be different.
