i was in halls today gettin a few odd n ends and seen the moose sahara jersey...sweet baby jesus i love this thing!! definatly a big help with warm weather riding. goin to be picking up a set of the pants next week if they work as well as the jersey itd probably be good for another 20-30% ride time i imagine.

I recently bought some Klim Baja pants. they are some of the nicest vented pants I have tried out yet! Very light and comfy, good articulation and plenty of vented panels.

i wouldnt mind some klims, only problem is im pretty sure nobody carries them around here. i hate ordering clothing type stuff online if im not sure how itd fit. wish we had a riding gear warehouse we could got to try stuff on before we buy. seems all the dealers have the basic..moose, thor maybe one more brand but that seems about it

I called Klim and ordered from a nice lady. I told her my waist and inseam measurements and she recommended what size to order. Dakar pants (adjustable venting) and Baja jersey. They have held up very well for the last couple of years.

Same here for the Klim gear. Just got a pair of Mojave's for the warmer weather we rarely experience here and have a set of Dakar's that I've beaten the crap out of. The leather inner leg panels on both are a ++++++++ for the Huskies peculiar exhaust setup. Haven't seen much of the Moose branded pants around here, but haven't looked too hard at anything but Klim. They are that good!

I have to give a thumb's up to Moose Sahara gear. Haven't worn the Klim stuff but have heard only good about it. Here in Floriduh, we only get to wear non-vented gear about 2-3 times a year, lol. I'm usually wearing last years stuff from the closeout catalog too.

That's why the FTR season runs from late August til early June....... I'm from central PA, moved down in '92, took a few years to acclimate. Our HS will be coming up soon, it's really fun(not) cutting trail in August & September

I usually don't wear vented gear, but this has been one of the hottest summers I can remember. I bought the cheapest vented gear I could find off of flea-bay just last week. $110.00 to the door, Fox 180.

Old Troy Lee Mt Bike Jersey (the old mesh style with thousands of little holes...) kind of like a foot ball jersey from 1986! Cut off sleeves, some Asterisk Elbow pads and some Vented Fly gloves... and a 661 cool core around the neck and under the Leatt.... those things work wonders for keeping your head heat/sweat down...

Works for all the summer heat here at the track...

I guess the good thing is that since it's vented gear hopefully I'll get some longevity out of it. 3-4 months out of the year. I've never used vented gear before.... A sign of getting old?
